वि.स.२०२८ सालमा पुनर्वास ग्रामिण आवास कम्पनी(हालको राष्ट्रिय आवास कम्पनी)ले नेपाल राज्यका विभिन्न जिल्लामा अव्यस्थित् रुपमा बसोबास गरेका सुकुम्बासी नागरिकहरुलाई घर घडेरी तथा कृषि प्रयोजनका लागि जग्गा वितरण गर्ने क्रममा यस मोती बस्ती गाउंमा जंगल फडानी गरी बस्ती बसालिएको थियो । एकातिर खाद्यान्न अभाव अर्को तिर औलाको उच्च जोखिममा कारण तत्कालिन समयमा यहांका बासीहरुको जिवनस्तर निकै दयनिय स्थितीबाट गुज्रीरहको थियो ।त्यस पछिको केही समय यता अमिरिकी संस्थाले यस ठाउंमा खाद्यान्नको आपुर्ती गरिदिंदा केही राहत महसुस गरियो । यस्तो जटिल परिस्थितीका बाबजुद शिक्षाको उज्यालो फैलाउने उद्देश्यले वि.स.२०३६ सालमा यहांका बुद्धिजिवी,समाजसेवी, शिक्षाप्रेमी एवं अभिभावकहरुकको बुद्धिमतापुर्ण निर्णयले कंचनपुर जिल्लाको दक्षिणी भेग कालिका गा.वि.स.मोती बस्ती(हालको पुनर्वास न.पा.०२,मोती बस्ती)को बिचमा खरको २ कोठे झुपडी लाई श्री सरस्वती प्रा.वि.नामाकरण गरि पहिलो विद्यालयको स्थापना गरियो । प्रा.वि.पुर्ण गर्न निरन्तर प्रयास जारी रह्यो फलस्वरुप २०३६ सालमै यस विद्यालयले प्रा.वि. दरबन्दी पाउंदा केही राहत महसुस ग¥यो ।
In 2028 BS (1971–1972 AD), while the Punarwas Rural Housing Company (currently the National Housing Company) was distributing land for housing and agricultural purposes to unmanaged landless citizens across various districts of Nepal, this Motibasti village was established by clearing forest areas. On one hand, due to severe food shortages, and on the other, the high risk of malaria, the living standards of the local residents at that time were extremely pathetic. Sometime later, a sense of relief was felt when an American organization supplied food to this place. Despite such complex circumstances, with the objective of spreading the light of education, local intellectuals, social workers, educationists, and guardians made a wise decision in 2036 BS (1979–1980 AD). They established the first school, named Shree Saraswati Primary School, in a two-room thatched hut located in the middle of Kalika VDC, Motibasti (currently Punarwas Municipality-2, Motibasti) in the southern region of Kanchanpur district. Continuous efforts were made to complete the primary level, and as a result, the school received a primary-level teaching quota in the very same year (2036 BS), providing some relief.
आर्थिक,भौतिक समस्या हुंदा हुंदै पनि अग्रजहरुको निरन्र प्रयासले क्रमिक रुपमा कक्षा थपिदै गए पश्चात् विद्यालय प्रा.वि.स्वीकृत भयो ।समय पविर्तन संगै शिक्षामा परिवर्तन आउंदै जांदा यहांका बासीहरुले नि.मा.वि. तहको शिक्षा हुनुपर्नेमा जोड गर्दै वि.स.२०४५ सालमा वडा न.१,२,३,४,७,८ र ९ को अभिभावकहरुको विशेष सहयोग र पहलकदमीले तत्कालिन प्रधानपञ्च श्री क्षेत्र बहादुर लामाको बाहुबली बाट समुद्घाटन भई नि.मा.वि. तहको कक्षा संचालन गरियो । तत्पश्चात् क्रमिक रुपमा २०५१ सालमा ४ वटा दरबन्दी सहित नि.मा.वि. स्वीकृत भयो । वि.स.२०५३ सालमा पुनःअभिभावकहरुको सहयोग र विद्यालयको आन्तरिक स्रोतबाट मा.वि.तहको कक्षा संचालन गरियो । वि.स.२०५६सालमा १ राहत दरबन्दी सहित यस विद्यालयले मा.वि.स्वीकृती पाउन सफल भयो ।यहांका बुद्धिजिवी,समाजसेवी,शिक्षाप्रेमी तथा अभिभावकहरुको संयुक्त निर्णय र सामुहिक प्रयासले गर्दा वि.स.२०६६ सालमा उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद्बाट(१०+२)को अस्थायी सम्बन्धन प्राप्त गरी हाल यस विद्यालयमा बाल कक्षा देखी १२ संचालनमा रहेको छ ।
Despite facing economic and physical challenges, through the relentless efforts of the elders, grades were progressively added, and eventually, the primary level of the school received formal approval. As time passed and education evolved, the locals emphasized the need for lower secondary education. Through the special cooperation and initiative of guardians from Wards No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9, lower secondary classes were inaugurated and operated in 2045 BS (1988–1989 AD) by the hands of the then Pradhan Panch, Mr. Kshetra Bahadur Lama. Subsequently, in 2051 BS (1994–1995 AD), the lower secondary level was officially approved along with four teaching quotas. In 2053 BS (1996–1997 AD), secondary-level classes were initiated with the support of guardians and the school's internal resources. In 2056 BS (1999–2000 AD), the school successfully received secondary-level approval along with one relief teaching quota.
Through the joint decisions and collective efforts of the local intellectuals, social workers, educationists, and guardians, the school obtained temporary affiliation from the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) in 2066 BS (2009–2010 AD) to conduct (10+2) education. Currently, the school operates classes from the Early Childhood Development (ECD) class up to grade 12.
